A veneer is a very fine layer of material which can be placed over the surface of a tooth to help improve its appearance. Whether you’d like to change the size, shape, or colour of a tooth a veneer is an easy way to dramatically change your smile – allowing you to finally flash those teeth with confidence.

More about dental veneers

Minimal preparation

The placing of a veneer requires minimum preparation time. Depending on the number of veneers you require it is likely that you’ll have your smile within just two visits. At the first appointment your existing tooth will be prepared by removing a tiny amount of enamel. This makes the space for the veneer to sit on top.

Custom made

Next, we will take an impression of the tooth and use it to custom make your new veneer. It will be colour matched to your other teeth with a professional colour chart. Your new veneer will be made in around one week. When it is ready you will be invited in for a fitting appointment.

Long lasting

Before the veneer is attached your existing tooth will be roughened slightly. It will then be attached with a strong dental adhesive. Veneers are made from strong and durable materials (such as porcelain and composite) so they have the potential to last for any years. Despite this, they can still be easily damaged so do be careful when eating hard food items or playing contact sports.
